I've always been a big fan of pale complexions, people like Michelle Tratchenburg for example- She has beautiful pale skin and stunning dark locks and she just wouldn't look right all tanned up! This is why I don't generally fake tan, I just don't think it would look right on me. However at the moment my skins beginning to look too pasty and really just washed out, so I'm beginning to think I should give it a go. I have tried st moritz fake tanning mousse before, which has had so many great reviews but I still managed to end up streaky- to be fair, it was applied by my friend whilst she was drunk, so maybe that has something to do with the results. But the other day I was at work (I work in boots) and I noticed St Tropez tanning mousse is on offer. It is currently about £13 if I remember rightly and it's usually around £20. I know it has great reviews I'm just wondering whether its worth me buying it knowing the St Moritz didn't work too well? and also I don't want to go too dark and I definitely don't want to end up orange! I'm not going to start tanning all the time, its just too time consuming. I'll just tan for nights out.
So let me me know what you think. Also I still dont have a working camera thanks to my sister but I get payed soon and I'm going to try and buy one!

Volume mascara reviews
So I was going to do a post about clothes Ive recently bought, then I found out my sister has lost my camera. I honestly chose a great time to start a blog. (Sarcasm intended) So instead I decided to review a couple of volume mascaras I have tried recently. Please comment if you have any on posts you would like me to do if you read this.
So the first mascara I am going to review is by Maybelline. Its the colossal volume express mascara as shown below.
Firstly I wasnt to keen on the appearance of this mascara as I thought the packaging looked cheap and unproffessional. I wouldnt have bought it myself as packaging like this gives me the impression it wont work as well for some reason, however my mum bought this for me so I thought I'd give it a go. Its reasonably priced at £7.19 and is currently on a 3 for 2 offer at Boots. The brush is just the kind of brush I love on a mascara big and bushy- I dont like to faff about with these little plastic things. Another thing I love about this mascara is you can achieve great coverage with just one coat. I personally love to gain a fake lash effect with my mascara and this is great for that as I usually find I have to sit and layer for ages and end up getting quite bored and giving up- with this mascara I only need a couple of coats. Overall I love this mascara far more than I ever thought i would and I would deffinately recommend it. The only downside of the product is the fact i did get a little masacara build up under my eyes, but i do rub my eyes a lot and compared to my other mascaras this one stays on like a dream!
The next mascara I chose to review is the Bourjois volume clubbing ultra black.
I bought this mascara for when Im going on a night out, the packaging gave me the impression it was fit for this purpose. I dont mind the packaging- Its not the best, but its not the worst. Its priced at £7.99 and is also currently 3 for 2 in Boots. I had high hopes for this mascara purely because its bourjois and they have some products which I love! However Im afraid to say I was dissapointed. The brush was ok but not as bushy as the previous mascaras brush and when I applied the mascara the brush clumped together. The mascara itself ended up looking quite messy and clumped. Later in the day i had a lot of excess mascara below my eyes and I was therefore left unimpressed. I wouldnt recommend this mascara and I will not be purchasing it again.
So there you go my first proper post! Please leave any feedback below!

First post.
Ok so I thought I'd start a blog seen as I've had a lot of spare time on my hands recently. I've been religiously reading a lot of other blogs for quite some time now, so I thought it was time to pluck up the courage and start writing one of my own. Its basically going to be about everything I love... Clothes, makeup, hair y'know the usual things a girl of my age obsesses over. So I hope to start following some blogs and maybe write a more interesting post in the next couple of days.
This is all so new and exciting! I love it.
